While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Massive march in Istanbul to condemn the genocide in Gaza

Monday 21-April-2025

ISTANBUL, (PIC)

A massive march was organized in the Turkish metropolitan city of Istanbul on Sunday under the slogan “Gaza is dying! Rise up” to denounce the genocide being committed by Israel in Gaza since October 7, 2023.

Thousands of demonstrators participated in the march, which began at the train station in the Üsküdar district on the Asian side of Istanbul. It was organized by the Humanitarian Relief Foundation (İHH).

During the march, demonstrators chanted slogans against the genocide committed by Israel in Gaza, such as: “Criminal Israeli entity, get out of Palestine,” “The children of Gaza are waiting for us,” and “Freedom Flotilla, set sail.”

They also chanted: “From Üsküdar to Gaza, a thousand greetings to the resistance,” “The pride of Gaza awakens the nation,” and “Israel is a killer, get out of Palestine.”

Participants held signs that read: “Send Turkish soldiers to Gaza,” “Stop the genocide in Gaza,” “More than 50,800 people have been martyred in Palestine,” “The blockade on Gaza is illegal,” and “O Islamic countries, stop the Zionist gang.”

The massive march headed toward Üsküdar Square in an atmosphere of solidarity with the Palestinian people.

Last Sunday, another march under the same slogan was held, with thousands of demonstrators marching from Beyazıt Square to Sultanahmet Square in front of the historic Hagia Sophia Mosque, on the European side of Istanbul.

At the beginning of March 2025, the first phase of a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement between Hamas and Israel ended. The agreement had gone into effect on January 19, mediated by Egypt and Qatar and supported by the United States, and was adhered to by the Palestinian resistance.

However, Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu backed out of starting the second phase and resumed the genocide in the Gaza Strip on March 18. Since its resumption, 1,827 citizens have been martyred and 4,828 others injured—most of them children and women—according to the Ministry of Health in the Strip.

With American support, Israel has been committing acts of genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, leaving over 168,000 Palestinians killed or wounded—most of them women and children and more than 11,000 missing.

WFP: Families in Gaza don’t know where their next meal will come from

Monday 21-April-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The World Food Program (WFP) said that families in the Gaza Strip do not know where their next meal will come from, amid the suffocating siege imposed by Israel on the Strip for nearly seven weeks.

In a statement posted on X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday, the program urged all parties to prioritize the needs of civilians, protect humanitarian workers, and allow immediate entry of aid into the Gaza Strip.

The UN agency emphasized that families in the Gaza Strip are unsure of their next meal and attached a video clip to its post showing a sign that reads: “The bakery is closed until further notice” and another that says: “Gaza needs food.”

Since March 2, Israel has closed the Gaza Strip’s crossings to food, relief, medical aid, and goods, causing a severe deterioration in the humanitarian conditions of Palestinians, according to governmental, human rights, and international reports.

Two days ago, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said in a report that the Israeli siege on the Gaza Strip over the past seven weeks has been even more intense than the initial period following October 7, 2023.

UNRWA noted that 420,000 people have been newly displaced in the Gaza Strip since March 18 due to renewed Israeli attacks.

In early March 2025, the first phase of a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement between Hamas and Israel—brokered by Egypt and Qatar with US support—came to an end. It had begun on January 19 and was upheld by the Palestinian Movement.

However, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu reneged on starting the second phase and resumed the genocide in the Gaza Strip on March 18, reportedly yielding to the most extremist faction within his right-wing government, according to Israeli media.

Since the resumption of the genocide, 1,827 Palestinians have been killed and 4,828 injured, most of them children and women, according to data published by the Ministry of Health on Sunday.

With US support, Israel has committed acts of genocide in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, resulting in over 168,000 Palestinians killed or injured—most of them children and women—and more than 11,000 reported missing.

Female detainees facing inhumane, unbearable conditions in Israeli detention, says Prisoners Authority

RAMALLAH, April 21, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs said Monday that female prisoners at Damon Prison are suffering from inhumane and extremely unbearable conditions inside imprisonment.

The Commission, quoting its lawyer who visited the detainees, said that the food is poor in quantity and quality, causing digestive problems for the prisoners, noting that all of them have lost significant weight.

It further added that prisoner Karam Mousa, 53, from the town of Surra in the Nablus Governorate, who was detained on February 25, 2025, was detained in a blood-stained and extremely dirty cell, with no room for prayer, no food, and only a small mattress.

Prisoner Karam emphasized that the food provided to her upon completion of her interrogation caused constipation and was insufficient for the number of prisoners in the room.

According to Karam , the Israeli Prison Service provides one plate of legumes for eight prisoners, while the break period has been reduced to one hour, which the prisoners use to shower.

Moving to the 44-years-old 'Haneen Jabir, who came from Nour Shams, also lost eight kilograms due to malnutrition during her five months of detention. Jabir was arrested on December 3, 2024, while out on a walk with her children in the park, on charges of sheltering and feeding her son, whom the occupation authorities claim is "wanted."

As for prisoner Fidaa Suhail 'Assaf, 49, from the town of Kafr Laqif in the Qalqilya Governorate, she has been suffering from leukemia for a year, prior to her detention.

Israeli forces raided Assaf's home on February 24, 2025, and detained her on the pretext of incitement on social media. She was interrogated and transferred to Al-Damon Prison, where a court hearing was scheduled for May 21, 2025.

The Commission noted that 'Assaf's health condition is stable and that she has been taking the prescribed medications regularly for two weeks.

The Commission's lawyer also visited Shahd Majid 'Hasan, 23, from Ramallah, who has been detained since March 5, 2025, and was sentenced to four months in administrative detention.

Hassan  describing her suffering inside Israeli custody, "I was detained from inside my home, then transferred to Ofer Prison, then to Beit El, then to Hasharon Prison for one night, and finally to Damon. It was a journey of torture. The treatment was extremely poor. I was kept shackled the entire time, and I was subjected to insults and humiliation along the way."

Palestinian killed by tear gas inhalation during the illegal Israeli settler attack on Ramallah-area town

RAMALLAH, 21 April 2025 (WAFA) –

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Monday evening that a Palestinian resident was killed due to tear gas inhalation in the town of Sinjil, located north of Ramallah.

The victim, 48-year-old Wa-il Basim Al-Ghafri, died after inhaling tear gas fired by Israeli occupation forces, who were providing protection for dozens of the illegal Israeli settlers, who stormed the town earlier in the day.

According to eyewitnesses, a group of colonists attacked an area of land separating Sinjil and the neighboring village of Al-Mazra‟a Al-Sharqiya. The colonists, under the protection of Israeli forces, set fire to a rural house.

Violent confrontations broke out in the town between local residents and Israeli forces, who opened live fire and tear gas at the Palestinians, with the assistance of armed colonists. While no injuries from live ammunition were reported, dozens of citizens suffered from severe tear gas inhalation.

Later, the Ministry of Health confirmed that Wa-il Al-Ghafri succumbed to the effects of the gas inhalation.

Eyewitnesses added that around 20 colonists had initially stormed the town's Khirbet Al-Tall area late last night. By morning, residents headed to the area, only to be met by more colonists, whose numbers swelled to around 200.

The colonists proceeded to set fire to a farm belonging to Mu'hammed Al-Ghafri, destroyed a workshop under construction, and burned three livestock barracks. They also stole 45 sheep and slaughtered several others.

One of the farm owners suffered a heart attack after being physically assaulted, sprayed with tear gas, and struck in the face by the colonists.

Since the beginning of the Israeli war on Gaza in October 2023, colonists have established 60 illegal colonial outposts in the occupied West Bank, 51 of which were erected in 2024 alone, according to the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission.

The ongoing Israeli colonists’ violence and land seizures have resulted in the displacement of 29 Palestinian communities, comprising 311 families and approximately 2,000 individuals, between October 7, 2023, and the end of 2024.

Toulkarm: 85 days since Israel's aggression began on the city and refugee camps

Toulkarm, April 21, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces continue their aggression against the city of Toulkarm and its camp for the 85th consecutive day, and for the 72nd day against the Nour Shams refugee camp, amid an ongoing escalation of incursions, raids, vandalism, and attacks on citizens and their property.

WAFA correspondent reported that occupation forces deployed this morning throughout the city's streets, stationed on Al-'Haddadeen Street, setting up a flying checkpoint, preventing vehicles from passing in both directions, and preventing shop owners from parking outside their shops at gunpoint. They combed and searched the area, but no arrests were reported.

After midnight, the occupation forces deployed infantry squads throughout the city's streets and neighborhoods, stationed in the southern neighborhood, raided the Al-Shannar Café, interrogated and abused the young men inside, and then detained A'hmed Nayfa.

Another force was also present in the western neighborhood, combing and searching everything in sight. They detained Ahmed Arafa from his home near the 'Hilmi 'Hanoun School in the area.

Toulkarm is seeing a daily escalation in raids and arrests, as part of the ongoing assault on the city, its camps, and its suburbs.

This includes the deployment of foot and mobile vehicles in the city's main neighborhoods, chasing young men, assaulting them, detaining them, and detaining them for long hours after confiscating their ID cards and mobile phones.

In this context, a massive explosion occurred last night in Al-Manshiyya neighborhood of the Nour Shams camp, east of the city. A house caught fire following the explosion, followed by a thick plume of smoke. The camp remains under a tight siege, with streets being bulldozed, homes raided, and residents forcibly displaced. The latest incident involved forcing several families to evacuate their homes east of the Dhnaba suburb, specifically those near Jabal al-Nasr in the camp, yesterday.

Meanwhile, Toulkarm refugee camp is witnessing a heavy presence of occupation forces, who continue to bulldoze, vandalize, and destroy the demolished streets and citizens' property, closing its entrances with earth mounds and barbed wire. The camp has been emptied of its residents after being forcibly displaced from their homes and converted into military barracks.

The occupation continues to seize homes and residential buildings on Nablus Street and the adjacent northern neighborhood, converting them into military barracks after forcibly evacuating their residents. Its machinery and bulldozers are stationed in the vicinity.

The ongoing Israeli aggression and escalation against the city of Toulkarm and its two camps have resulted in the killing of 13 citizens, including a child and two women, one of whom was eight months pregnant. Dozens have also been injured and arrested.

It has also resulted in the forced displacement of more than 4,000 families from the Toulkarm and Nour Shams camps, along with hundreds of citizens from the city's northern neighborhood after their homes were seized and several converted into military barracks.

The aggression caused widespread destruction to the infrastructure, including homes, shops, and vehicles, which were completely and partially demolished, burned, vandalized, looted, and stolen. 396 homes were completely destroyed and 2,573 partially destroyed in the Toulkarm and Nour Shams refugee camps, in addition to the closure of their entrances and alleys with earth mounds.

The Israeli occupation forces continue to send military reinforcements, accompanied by fuel and water tankers, from Al-Jalama checkpoint to the vicinity of Jenin camp.

Jineen Mayor Mu'hammed Jarrar said in a phone call with WAFA that occupation forces are continuing to demolish homes inside Jineen refugee camp, while tightening the siege and preventing any party or person from entering.

He pointed out that the municipality's technical crews are continuing to work around the camp and on its outskirts, while efforts continue in the western region to repair the infrastructure destroyed by the occupation, despite the looming dangers.

Jarrar confirmed that statistics indicate that 600 housing units have been completely destroyed in the camp, in addition to the partial destruction of other homes, rendering them uninhabitable.

According to the Ministry of Public Works, work is underway to provide temporary shelter for the displaced in the Wadi Burqeen area. The shelter will initially include 32 mobile homes, each accommodating five people.

Jineen Governor Kamal Abu Al-Rub stated yesterday that efforts are continuing to resolve the temporary displacement crisis in the Jineen and Toulkarm governorates by providing caravans on plots of land near the camps.

According to Abu Al-Rub, the number of displaced people has reached 21,000, distributed throughout the governorate. There are 6,000 in the city, 3,200 in the Arab American University dormitories, and 4,181 in Burqin.

On Sunday evening, 25-year-old Suleiman Fawaz Manasra was killed after Israeli occupation forces fired live bullets at him at the entrance to Homesh colony, built on the lands of the town of Silat Al-Dthahr, south of Jenin. His body was seized by Israeli occupation forces.

The Israeli occupation forces also closed the road between the cities of Nablus and Jenin and the entrance to the town of Bazariya, alleging that a shooting attack had been carried out in the area.

Yesterday, Israeli occupation forces detained two young men from the town of 'Arraba, south of Jenin, after raiding and searching their homes.

Israeli occupation forces also stormed the towns of Kafr Dan and Yamoun, west of Jenin, deployed throughout their neighborhoods, fired live ammunition at civilians, and targeted journalists while covering the Israeli aggression at one of the entrances to Jenin refugee camp.

Israeli bulldozers placed earth mounds around the Tawalba Mosque at the northern entrance to Jenin refugee camp, while drones continued to fly over the city and camp.

The Israeli occupation forces continue their military training around the Jalameh military checkpoint, north of Jenin, where they occasionally fire live ammunition around Jineen refugee camp.

The number of slain Palestinians in the Jineen Governorate since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on the city and camp 91 days ago has reached 39, with dozens more injured and detained.

Israeli occupation forces demolish residential building near Al-Khaleel (Hebron)

Al-Khaleel (Hebron), April 21, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation bulldozers demolished two homes in the town of Ni'lin, west of Ramallah, and a residential building in the town of Bait Ummar, north of Al-Khaleel (Hebron), on Monday morning.

According to local sources, occupation forces stormed the town of Ni'leen and surrounded two homes belonging to siblings Na-il and Ra-id Ridha Surour before demolishing them under the pretext that they were built without a permit.

It should be noted that the two homes consist of three floors and were constructed several years ago.

In Bait Ummar, occupation bulldozers began demolishing a residential building located in the Wadi Al-Wa'hdain area, south of Bait Ummar, opposite the Karmei Tzur colony, which was forcibly built on private land. The seven-story building, each with an area of 210 square meters, was under construction and owned by Mu'hammed 'Eisa 'Husain Alqam.

It's worth noting that the occupation authorities handed the building owner a demolition notice two months ago, giving him a 60-day deadline. However, the demolition was carried out before the deadline expired. It's also worth noting that 10 homes in the same area are also threatened with demolition, under the pretext of their proximity to Karmei Tzur colony.

For its part, the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission warned against the policy of demolishing citizens' homes, considering it an attempt to restrict Palestinian construction and natural growth in Palestinian villages and towns, under the pretext of lacking permits, to displace Palestinians and isolate them in narrow cantons and enclaves.

It's worth noting that the occupation authorities carried out 58 demolition operations during the month of March, affecting 87 structures, including 39 inhabited homes, 6 uninhabited homes, and 26 agricultural and other structures.

During the same period, 46 Palestinian facilities were notified of demolition orders.

The orders were concentrated in 20 in Tulkarm Governorate, followed by 8 in the Jineen Governorate, 6 in Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), and 6 in Al-Khaleel (Hebron).

This comes as the Israeli occupation army continues its aggression against refugee camps, towns, and cities in the northern West Bank, which began on January 21.

In parallel with the genocidal war in the Gaza Strip, the occupation and its settlers have escalated their attacks in the West Bank, including Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), resulting in the deaths of more than 954 Palestinians, the injury of nearly 7,000, and the arrest of 16,400, according to official Palestinian sources.

UNRWA condemns ‘collective punishment’ of Palestinians, saying nothing can justify it

NEW YORK, April 21, 2025 (WAFA) –

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said on Monday that the vast majority of Gaza's population are civilian children, women, and men, suffering indescribable suffering.

The agency affirmed via its Twitter account that nothing can justify the collective punishment of the Palestinian people, calling for a ceasefire now.

UNRWA currently operates 115 shelters across the Gaza Strip, housing more than 90,000 displaced persons.

It noted that the deteriorating humanitarian situation is worsening as a result of the bombing and the ongoing blockade, which prohibits the entry of humanitarian aid and commercial supplies.

The United Nations estimates that approximately 420,000 people have been displaced again since the Israeli occupation government resumed its aggression on the Gaza Strip on March 18.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
